Aaron Miller has been named SoCon offensive player of the week for the 2nd time this season

Citadel quarterback Aaron Miller has been named Southern Conference offensive player of the week for the second time this season. A senior from Clover, Miller accounted for 233 yards of total offense and four touchdowns in the Bulldogs’ 42-35 win over Furman on Saturday. His 2-yard TD run in overtime was the winning score.

Miller ran 19 times for 91 yards and two touchdowns, including a 32-yard score. He also completed 8 of 13 passes for 142 yards and two touchdowns, a 7-yard pass to Jake Steson and a 10-yarder to Vinny Miller. Aaron Miller led a seven-play, 80-yard drive for the tying touchdown with 1:34 left in the game, including a 45-yard pass to Jonathan Dorogy.

The Citadel (4-6, 2-3 in the SoCon) plays its final home game of the season at 1 p.m. Saturday against Samford (6-3, 4-2).
